Who are the people in the team?

We have a number of people in our virtual core-team. We are all working part-time for large European large and medium-sized companies. Next to that we are building a network of experts in different areas whom we trust and with whom we have positive experiences. Some of the core-team members present themselves under here.


Dr. Tony de Bree MBA RBACV Dr. Tony de Bree MBA RBA 

After having studied History and Economics at Leiden University and having worked as a programmer and designer of Computer Based Learning programs, Tony de Bree joined Amro and became Co-ordinator Computer Based Training. Consequently he was appointed senior Consultant and Project Manager Educational Technology & Interactive Learning Systems and Knowledge Management after having been Senior Consultant Training Services at Amro. From 1993 to 1996, he made a dramatic career change by accepting an interim position as Head of Back-Office Global Custody at ABN AMRO Global Securities Department. After having integrated the two back-offices of Institutional and Retail Clients, he accepted a position as Senior Consultant Corporate IT Strategy & Architecture in the context of improving Business and IT-alignment.  His tasks included project management of European Projects on e-commerce and e-business and Trusted Third Party Services (the Memo-project).

Currently Dr. de Bree serves as Vice President of ABN AMRO Bank N.V., responsible as interim manager eBusiness (eTrust) for all eBusiness projects at ABN AMRO Trust. Drawing upon 17 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, European eLearning, eBusiness and eCommerce Projects (eMarketplaces etc), he is continuously striving to increase and measure customer value by using relationship capital internally and externally while offering his guidance and knowledge to assist in the formulation and measurement of internal objectives across disciplines and to learn from others. With a optimistic organisational and individual competency-based approach. 

He has received a number of prices and is holding a number of positions in various Foundations and Academies world-wide. He is a fellow of the Arab Banking and Financial Services Academy. Member of  the CEN/ISSS Electronic Commerce workshop. Member of various workshops advising the European Commission on eCommerce and Financial Services related Policies. He is author of large number of articles covering Knowledge Management, Strategy, Organisational Change implementation and performance measurement systems measuring and valuating intangibles for a wide variety of target audience including auditors, risk managers and compliance officers. And he was voted ´Knowledge Sharing Champion by ABN AMRIO Retail worldwide after the publication of his first Dutch book for controllers, auditors and accountants.

 

In 1997, he finished an European MBA ( studying in Wharton, Insead etc) and in 2001 he finished his  PhD at the R.U. Groningen, a Ph.D in Business Administration and Knowledge Management on “Transformation of Financial Services companies. How to map and measure customer value created with relationship capital” (see also Download).

He is married to his French wife Chantal since 1980. And lived in France in the beginning of the Eighties. They have two children: Tim and Alice. And he enjoys playing guitar, having dinner with friends and relatives, travelling,  reading and always learning.


Prof. Dr. Paul Lous Iske

After the completion his PhD thesis in Theoretical Physics, Paul Iske joined Shell Research in 1989 where he was involved in establishing and leveraging relationships with external research institutes and in the knowledge transfer between the Research & Technical Services organisation and the business environments (refineries, plants). In 1995, Paul Iske founded INTEGRAL Research Partners focusing on generation and application of knowledge and R&D results. 

Paul Iske joined ABN AMRO Global Transaction Services (GTS) as Head of Knowledge Management in 1997. Currently, he is Senior Vice President, Chief Knowledge Officer for ABN AMRO Corporate Finance. Before this, Paul was Vice President Knowledge Networking within the ABN AMRO e-Commerce organisation. He is one of the initiators of the ABN AMRO Knowledge Management Forum, a cross-divisional Community of Practice that aims to increase the awareness for and the impact of KM activities. 

On a free-lance basis, Paul acts as an independent consultant on Knowledge-conscious Management and supports organisations in the development and implementation of programs focusing on leveraging knowledge as a strategic production factor. He is a frequent speaker on international conferences and workshops focusing on Knowledge Management and Innovation. 

In 1997 Paul Iske became Visiting Fellow at the University of Newcastle (UK), dealing with "Interfacing Industry & Academia". In 1999, Paul became Visiting Professor  for the faculty of Engineering at the University of Newcastle, specialising in "Intellectual Capital". 

Since 2002, Paul is member of the Editorial Board of KM Magazine, one of the leading international journals for (applied Knowledge Management). For the European Commission he is reviewer of various Knowledge Management projects. He has been appointed by the EC as a member of an international team to develop guidelines and best practices in the area of (measurement of) KM efforts.
